Game servers now available at BYTERONIX

Version 1.1.0 introduces game servers as a new product area at BYTERONIX. At launch, 24 games, flexible resources, individual game settings and complete management directly in the customer area are available.

New

  • Game servers are available as a new BYTERONIX product area with 24 supported games, including Minecraft, CS2, ARK: Survival Evolved, Rust, Palworld, Valheim and Satisfactory.
  • A new game server catalog presents every available game with dedicated artwork, a description, category and its starting price.
  • Each game has its own configuration page with detailed information, available server variants and game-specific settings.
  • Game server management combines a live console, statistics, settings, SFTP access, databases, local backups and scheduled tasks in the customer area.
  • Minecraft supports numerous variants such as Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Vanilla, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Bedrock, BungeeCord and Velocity.
  • The Minecraft EULA can be accepted during the first launch through a clear notice in the BYTERONIX customer area.

Feature

  • CPU resources from 200 to 600%, 4 to 24 GB RAM and 10 to 51 GB SSD storage can be selected flexibly, with the monthly price calculated from the chosen configuration.
  • Game-specific variables such as server name, player count, map, game mode, password or modding variant can be configured before ordering.
  • For games requiring Steam authentication, the relevant setting explains where to create a Game Server Login Token and which App ID to use.
  • Game servers are available from the homepage, product navigation and personal product overview, where they are highlighted as a new offering.
  • Automatic provisioning prepares the selected game server with the chosen resources, server variant and game settings.
  • The first game server configurations are available from €5.50 per month.

Sign-in, support and presentation improved

Version 1.0.10 adds username-based sign-in, improves protection for registration and customer accounts, and refines communication and presentation across support and the customer area.

Feature

  • Customers can now sign in using either their email address or username.

Improvement

  • Registration is now better protected against automated spam sign-ups.
  • New sign-in notifications present the time and IP address more clearly and direct customers to support when access is unfamiliar.
  • Support tickets now accept detailed problem descriptions and replies without the previous character limit.
  • Ticket emails now identify new replies from the support team more clearly.
  • Public pages and the customer area make better use of large screens while retaining comfortable outer spacing.

Bugfix

  • Customer-written ticket messages, subjects and file names remain unchanged when switching between German and English views.

Bot hosting launched and customer dashboard redesigned

Version 1.0.9 introduces the new BYTERONIX bot hosting product with flexible resources and complete management in the customer area. The dashboard has also been rebuilt for growing product inventories, alongside further improvements to payments, invoices, partner downloads and product statistics.

New

  • Bot hosting is available as a new prepaid product from €0.50 per month and can be configured flexibly with 25 to 200% CPU and 256 MB to 2 GB RAM.
  • Custom bots and numerous prepared one-click bots can be set up directly through BYTERONIX and reinstalled when required.
  • Bot management combines a live console, usage statistics, start, stop and restart actions, SFTP access, settings and term management.
  • Each bot hosting product supports up to three databases, three local backups and three scheduled tasks.

Feature

  • Custom bots can run with Node.js 12 to 25, C#, Java or Go, while one-click bots display only the settings they require.
  • Bot hosting is now available from the homepage, product navigation and personal product overview.

Improvement

  • The customer dashboard has been redesigned with compact two-column product management, direct product access and separate counters for active and expired products.
  • Affiliate and donation information in the dashboard now presents the personal affiliate link, registrations, earnings, received donations and sent donations more clearly.
  • The bot hosting product page has been optimized for search engines and social previews and added to the public sitemap.
  • PayPal balance top-ups are completed more reliably, and unfinished payments now receive a clear final status.
  • Invoices, credit notes and wallet corrections now represent paid amounts and the original composition of used balance more consistently.
  • The partner download area has been expanded with additional logos, icons, partner badges and Hosted by graphics in multiple variants.
  • Statistics charts for bot hosting and KVM servers have been unified with finer, clearly visible lines and no distracting glow effect.

Bugfix

  • The bot hosting console and server actions work without unnecessary page reloads, preserving output, connection state and controls.
  • Issues affecting reinstallations, one-click bot settings, task creation and database credential display have been fixed.
  • Lines that were temporarily invisible in KVM statistics charts are now displayed reliably again.

New BYTERONIX design and improved domain restoration

Version 1.0.8 introduces the new visual BYTERONIX design across the platform and makes expired-domain restoration more transparent in term selection, price breakdowns and invoices. The partner areas, customer dashboard and About timeline have also been improved.

New

  • The BYTERONIX visual design has been completely revised with a new logo, standalone B symbol and new favicon.
  • Partners can download the new logo as adaptive, light and dark SVG variants together with the standalone B symbol.

Feature

  • For expired domains, the restoration dialog now separates the one-time restoration fee from the renewal charge for one, two or three years.

Improvement

  • The new BYTERONIX design is now used consistently across the website, customer login, error and maintenance pages, emails, invoices and browser icons.
  • Invoices and transactions for domain restorations now show the restoration fee and renewal portion transparently.
  • The partner card in the customer dashboard has been retuned for light and dark mode so the creator code and actions remain clearly readable in both themes.
  • The public partner overview now distributes partner cards more flexibly and uses the available row width evenly even when only a few entries are present.
  • The About timeline now documents the July 2026 rebranding.

Bugfix

  • The total price of multi-year domain restorations is now calculated correctly from one one-time restoration fee plus the renewal price instead of multiplying the restoration fee by each term year.

Flexible terms and order overview redesigned

Version 1.0.7 introduces flexible, product-specific prepaid terms for orders and renewals. A new animated term slider makes selection clearer, while prices, expiry dates, invoices and order confirmations are now consistently calculated and displayed using exact day values. Scheduled blog posts are also published automatically at their specified publication time.

New

  • Standard products such as webspaces, KVM servers and TeamSpeak³ servers can now be ordered and renewed for 7, 14, 30, 90, 180, 360, 720 or 1080 days.
  • Domains now support terms of 365, 720 or 1080 days, while Plesk licences can be booked for 30, 90, 180, 360, 720 or 1080 days.

Feature

  • The order overview now uses an animated term slider with snap points placed directly in the track and the selected number of days displayed inside the handle.
  • The minimum and maximum values provide orientation and automatically disappear when the slider reaches the corresponding endpoint.
  • Standard and Plesk orders default to 30 days, while domain orders default to 365 days.
  • Renewal dialogs for webspace, KVM, TeamSpeak³, domains and Plesk now show every product-specific term together with its immediately calculated price.
  • Scheduled blog posts are automatically published at their specified publication time.

Improvement

  • Orders now store their actual term as an exact day value so that short and multi-year bookings remain unambiguous.
  • Prices, expiry dates and renewals are calculated from the selected number of days, including prorated short terms and complete multi-year terms.
  • Invoices, order confirmations, order lists and product management views now display the selected term consistently and transparently.
  • Term cards in renewal dialogs have been arranged responsively, with standard products showing up to four options per row on larger screens.
  • Product pages and FAQ copy have been updated in German and English to reflect the new ordering and renewal terms.
  • Existing orders using the previous monthly values remain compatible and are automatically mapped to the corresponding day-based terms.

Bugfix

  • The term slider now has clear contrast in light mode and remains fully usable on mobile devices without horizontal overflow.
  • Terms that are not permitted for the selected product are now rejected reliably on the server.

Removed

  • The obsolete 60-day term has been removed completely from ordering and validation.
